We have an opening for a 1 year postdoctoral position on auditory biomechanics. We are trying to fill this position ASAP. The objective of this project is to analyze the role of tectorial membrane viscoelasticity in hearing mechanics using finite element models.
Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. Experience in finite element modeling, acoustics , vibrations, biomechanics and/or biophysics are preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative research environment are required.
