  • ME 8853 Structural Acoustics: Description of  the fundamental characteristics of sound generated by vibrating structures. The sound generated by elastic plates and the interaction of sound with structures in enclosed volume of fluid are analyzed. An introduction to the Finite Element Method (FEM) and the Boundary Element Method (BEM) for the numerical solutions of structural acoustics problems concludes the course. Fall 2015
